Majo's Guide is designed to help you prepare for the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) from N5 (easiest) to N1 (most advanced). Each level includes grammar points with formation rules, example sentences, and usage notes, plus kanji with on-yomi and kun-yomi readings, meanings, and example words.
We recommend studying in order: start with N5 grammar and kanji, then move to N4, N3, N2, and N1. Use the search on this site to find specific grammar or kanji. Combine this guide with listening practice, reading, and Anki or other flashcard tools for best results.
All content is free to use. The site works in English and Arabic. Grammar entries include structure, meaning, and example sentences. Kanji entries include readings, stroke count, and vocabulary. Use the level pages to browse by N5, N4, N3, N2, or N1, or use the search to find a specific topic. We also link to useful external resources such as Anki decks and video lessons.
Search: use the search form or command menu to find grammar and kanji across all levels. Privacy Policy and Terms of Use are available. Home, About, Contact, and level pages are linked in the footer and navigation.
